Pink...Pink...and more Pink

There's no such thing as too much Pink.  Well, maybe there is but still, I just love this color in all it's variations.  Bubblegum, mauve, hot, cool, light, fuschia - you name it, if it's pink...I love it.  And as far as coastal style goes...I think pink fits in just about anywhere.

Here are some of my very favorite pink rooms, courtesy of Better Homes & Gardens Decorating with Pink.

I think all of these spaces are so beautifully done and would fit in any coastal or beach style home.  My favorite is...uhm, well they are all my favorite which is why I selected them.  Which one do you like best?

Have a great Monday!

Loving Beautiful Details by the Seashore

The last few months, I've taken a bit of a break from Etsy.  Not because I was tired of all of its amazing shops and offerings...but because quite frankly, I bought a little too much and was running out of room.

My decoration style definitely leans to the less is more look...so I found I was buying things on Etsy that I liked...but just keeping them in a cabinet and rotating them in and out.  So I recently gave away many of my treasures that I don't have room for - so that I can spread the Etsy love to friends and family.  So with that - I've started to spend a little more time - browsing around,  getting ready for holiday shopping that's hard to believe - is right around the corner.

So with that - I wanted to feature one of my very favorite Etsy Shops...Beautiful Details by the Seashore.  Carol and her husband Andrew are an amazing husband and wife team (she's the Mermaid...he's the Surfer) that share a passion for all things about the ocean.

Here are some of my favorite things that are currently listed in Carol's shop.

I've purchased several of Carol's bottles for my home...which I absolutely treasure...and one of her painted whelks with an air plant.  The attention to detail and care she puts into each of her creations makes them so special.

I hope you enjoy viewing my selections.  It's hard for me to pick my favorite...I think I like the weathered sign that says "On this site in 1897, nothing happened".  That's pretty cute.

Which piece is your favorite?

We're having a Heat Wave....

Just finished this great book....by Nancy Thayer.

I was saving it for my vacation later this month...but once I started it, I didn't want to put it down.  If your looking for some great reading...check it out.

And if you are interested in learning more about Elin Hilderbrand and her new book Silver Girl, check out my friend Linda from Beachside Cottage's recent post.  If you like Elin's books - you will love this post.

Hope you have a great day!

I need a vacation...oh yes I do.

Is this an awesome summer photograph or what?  I found it on Coastal Living and it represents what I expect to be doing in a few weeks time.  After much thought, I've finally selected my upcoming vacation spot...The Cloister at Sea Island, Georgia.

I've never been there before...so I am really excited about my visit.  And I'm driving....which is even better because the last thing I wanted to do was get on a plane.  So I'm going to stop off on some fun little beachy seaside towns along the way.  I'll be driving north from South Florida so let me know if you have any recommendations to check out.

Hope your having a great weekend!

Seaside Summer from Napa Style

I always associate Memorial Day Weekend with the beginning of summer and this first photograph from Napa Style's most recent catalog embodies everything wonderful that summer has to offer...beautiful ocean, tasty seafood, great company...you can even see a dog in the background running on the beach.

So here are some of my favorite offerings from Napa Style's Seaside Summer.

Hope you enjoy my favorite summer picks from Napa Style....

Have an amazing Memorial Day Weekend!!
