I recently purchased a series of amazing photographs of the Horses of Carmague from Montreal based photographer and artist, Irene Suchoki. One of my very best friends is an avid horsewoman and I thought these photographs would be a great addition to her collection. She was overwhelmed by the beauty of these incredible sea loving animals that are so beautifully captured by Irene. Check out Irene's incredible work in her Etsy Shop.

Loving Beautiful Details by the Seashore

The last few months, I've taken a bit of a break from Etsy. Not because I was tired of all of its amazing shops and offerings...but because quite frankly, I bought a little too much and was running out of room.

My decoration style definitely leans to the less is more look...so I found I was buying things on Etsy that I liked...but just keeping them in a cabinet and rotating them in and out. So I recently gave away many of my treasures that I don't have room for - so that I can spread the Etsy love to friends and family. So with that - I've started to spend a little more time - browsing around, getting ready for holiday shopping that's hard to believe - is right around the corner.

So with that - I wanted to feature one of my very favorite Etsy Shops...Beautiful Details by the Seashore. Carol and her husband Andrew are an amazing husband and wife team (she's the Mermaid...he's the Surfer) that share a passion for all things about the ocean.

Here are some of my favorite things that are currently listed in Carol's shop.

I've purchased several of Carol's bottles for my home...which I absolutely treasure...and one of her painted whelks with an air plant. The attention to detail and care she puts into each of her creations makes them so special.

I hope you enjoy viewing my selections. It's hard for me to pick my favorite...I think I like the weathered sign that says "On this site in 1897, nothing happened". That's pretty cute.

A Treasured Whelk....

I'm so excited that I arrived home today to a package that I've really been looking forward to receiving. Last week, I saw an amazingly pretty whelk shell from Beautiful Details that was featured on Completely Coastal's weekly Coastal Mix - Summer Decorations and Inspirations...and just knew I had to have it in my house.

I'm a huge fan of Carol's amazing coastal inspired vintage bottles...and so I knew that I would love this special whelk. And I do. Here it is in its new home....what a perfect match.

So what do you think? Isn't this a pretty special little seashell?

Pink Pelican Designs....Amazing Coastal Artistry...

If you've followed my blog for a while, you know that I love to feature my favorite Etsy Shops. Some of you may remember my first post on Pink Pelican Designs....a collection of amazing sea shell and coastal inspired artistry sold on Etsy.

I love this shop so much, I just had to share it again. Pam has incredible talent, I can spend hours just gazing at her creations. And even better, she also does custom pieces....I'm looking for the perfect chandelier to have her transform for me one of these days.

For those of you who live on the Gulf Coast, Pam has a space at the Gas Plant Antique Arcade in St. Pete, where you can stop by and meet her in person. I'm hoping to do that on one of my visits this summer.

Vintage & Coral...what a combination

Those of you who have read my blog for a while, know how much I love Etsy. Browsing through the many shops is one of my most favorite things to do. I've found some amazing treasures and continue to spend my time just enjoying all the wonderful vintage and handmade offerings.

So with that - I thought I'd share with you some of my favorite vintage coral jewelry pieces that I've been admiring. Nothing says summer coastal chic more - than coral accessories..especially with a bit of turquoise mixed in.
