Vintage Bottles Holiday Style....

I was so inspired today by a post from Erin's Art and Gardens on how she created some amazing holiday decorations using her vintage bottles and ornaments.  Here decorations are beautiful.  So this afternoon, I took out my bottles and created my interpretation....coastal style of course.  I gathered my bottles, found one of my favorite distressed turquoise wooden bases, a starfish, piece of coral, a french inspired candle and some branches with red berries that I purchased at Fresh Market.

Here are some different angles....

And I also put together my coastal Christmas treasure box that I started last year.  I changed it up a little bit...and put in some of my very favorite pieces all blended together....I'm happy with how it came out.

So now I'm getting all excited about holiday decorating.  I'm hoping to get my tree next Saturday.  I didn't want to put it up too soon since I'm getting a real one...and I want it to last until New Years Day.  I'm looking for a flocked tree...should be interesting a wild goose chase to see if I can find one here in South Florida.  Stay tuned & more to follow.

I'm looking forward to seeing all of my favorite blogs holiday decorations.  Are you in the christmas decorating mode yet?

I love what you did with the bottles and I still love your fun colorful home. I was going to start today, but my dog is sick and I have been taking care of her all day. Hopefully she is on the mend.

Wow, Debbie, you're in the full swing of it! I finished my mini driftwood Christmas tree, attached a bow to my newly purchased monkey fist door stopper..., well, little things! I'm loving that wooden base. So gorgeous, it really makes the whole display shine. Beautiful!!

You're definitely in the spirit! We got our tree yesterday...soaked it all day/night. Tonight, the boys set it up for me. Tomorrow the decorating begins in earnest!

Saw a driftwood nativity set on pinterest...attributed to you. Where is it on your blog? Did you make this????? LOVED IT!

Wow, Debbie! The aqua bottles and red berries are gorgeous! I love how they make the colors in your chairs pop! The chest filled with all the French and vintage looking treasures is another pretty display. You've done a great job putting together these holiday pieces.

And the vintage box is gorgeous, love all of the treasures you've added. Oh, and I see a few familiar goodies, there, too! You are off to a great start:) Enjoy your week!

Debbie, I love your vintage bottle display, I've done something very similar on my buffet but haven't posted it yet. I am adoring your treasure box and my eye keeps going to your gorgeous plaid chairs. LOVE, love love, them. And do I spot a door used as a coffee table under that treasure box.? Your decor is a feast for the eyes.
Love it all. Good luck on your hunt for a flocked tree.
I love them. If you don't find one you can always use the canned flock. :)
