In the Fall of 1991, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure handed out pink ribbons to participants in their NYC race for breast cancer survivors. From there - other people and organizations worked together to promote breast cancer awareness throughout the world - and pink has become the international color symbolizing this effort.
So in celebration of my love of pink - and in support of Breast Cancer Awareness, I've highlighted a few of my favorite things ....
Lovely jewelry....
Fun little bath toys....
Great styling products.....
|
Chi Flat Iron and Hairbrush set
|
Comfy flip flops....
Cheers for the Cure.....
Looking good running.....
Chic Crafting necessities.....
And because my kitties have to be supportive as well.....these are their favorite pick's:
So here's to celebrating the color pink - in the name of finding a cure for breast cancer.

What a wonderful post. I see so many sad cases every day here. And, no matter what I do, I still feel it is not enough. God bless every woman and their family that is touched by breast cancer. Hugs for raising the awareness- Diana
This is such a supportive post to the thousands diagnosed each year.
Great collection of pink, and a wonderful cause. My oldest sister had breast cancer about 7 years ago, but thankfully they caught it in the early stages and she is now fine.
What a dear, sweet soul you are, Debbie. This is a wonderful post, and a great reminder for all of us gals to have our mammos this month. Bless you, friend! :)

What a wonderful pink post for awareness. I go every October. I love those pink Nike's!
You never know... your post might remind someone to get tested, might raise the one $ needed to fund a cure. One person, with a good heart, can do amazing things :-)
So many people are touched by cancer, so any opportunity to promote cancer awareness and help raise money for the cause is a good thing :-)

Thanks for PINK post!
