Tickled Pink...in a pinkalicious kind of way.....

In celebration of my love of the color pink, this is my second post called Tickled Pink (I am certain, not my last). And I could not think of a better subject than this lovely cake made by Bella from Bella's Rose Cottage.

I first learned of Bella's blog from my friend Diana of Nana Diana takes a Break and with with my first click, I was captivated by the lovely photos and wonderful posts..... BUT what really caught my eye was a vision of pink fluffy loveliness....on the left hand side of her blog.

Taking a closer look - I realized it was a cake....not just any cake - but a cake  that all other cakes should be measured by - the cake that should be declared:

"The most beautiful cake in the world"

If there was such an award, I believe this masterpiece would win it. Just look it at.... not only is it the perfect shade of frosty pink and adorned with gorgeous  flowers; pink panda strawberry blooms, clusters of pink roses and wisps of cat mint.  It looks so fresh & lovely.

Not too sweet - just smooth, creamy, yummy -  a perfect taste.

I just gaze at this and dream - what is the inside like?  Is it a chocolate layer cake, or creamy vanilla with strawberries?  Or does it have a little bit of whipped cream inside?.......yum.

It just yells out "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful"...

And because it's so beautiful, I think it is deserving of a very special stand to display it's loveliness...almost like the perfect accessory to complete your outfit.

And since we all know it is simply impossible to limit yourself to just one accessory, "she" deserves to have the pick of the best...so here are the ones I selected (all with pink of course) that are worthy of her beauty.....

Square Pink cake stand from Confections in Glass Etsy Shop
Ceramic Dogwood Cake stand from Whitney Smith Etsy Shop
Soft pink and white cake stand from Confections in Glass Etsy Shop
Depression era vintage pink cake stand from Ugly Santa Etsy Shop
Pink Milk Glass cake stand from Barking Sands Vintage
Pink Upcycled cake stand from Curious Coffee Etsy Shop
Large Paris in rose pink cake stand from Ferguson Pottery Etsy Shop

I couldn't resist supersizing these photos for one last look at her loveliness.....

So which cake stand do you think she deserves?

.....Thank you Bella for creating such a
wonderful masterpiece and for allowing
me to share "her" on my blog.

Oh my Gosh! What a great and lovingly written post. First off-thanks for the mention...and...isn't that Bella and her blog the cutest thing ever? I think she's older than she looks cuz she said she had her drying rack for 20 years....so unless she was 5 when she got it-definitely, definitely older than she looks.

Secondly...I don't think I would put that cake on any of those stands. I think I would eat it first...oh...wait...I'm off sugar...okay then..
guess I would pick Third from the bottom..Pink Milk Glass BECAUSE...I don't think I have ever seen pink milk glass!

I am so glad you found your way to Bella's Rose Cottage. I want to be there!!! Hugs- Diana

What a delicious post! I am so glad you wrote about this cake. Every time I visit Bella's blog I am totally captivated by this gorgeous cake! I would place it on any of these beautiful cake stands because they are all deserving of this luscious bit of sweetness. I am partial to pink milk glass so I would probably choose that one. How about you?

Oooh, this is the most beautiful cake! I actually like it best on the glass stand it is on, because it looks like it is just floating in space. But, I can imagine some other wonderful creations by the talented Bella on those gorgeous pink cake stands, too. How about something with chocolate frosting and delicate white decorations on the pink milk glass! Yum. Linda

Oh my, Debbie! This cake looks so beautiful it "almost" a shame to eat it!! What a beautiful treat for the eyes and the taste buds. ;o)
Those cake stands are gorgeous, too! I like the stand it's on already, but I think it would look pretty on the pink milk glass stand, too.
This was a fun post, Debbie... thanks for sharing with us.
Hope your week in NYC is going well,

Hey Debbie! I do believe that that cake is just TOO beautiful to eat. Seriously! lol! How could anyone bring themselves to cut in to that piece of art???? :) I would place her on the Depression pink stand or the milk glass one. Simple is better for that beauty, for sure. Then, I would just stand back and look at her, and take alot of pics of her just like Bella did. lol!

What are you doing in NYC, friend? I must'ave missed a post.... :( I hope it's for fun and not work!

Hugs ~

Oh wow! That is a beautiful cake indeed, especially the lovely roses on top. I made a pink cake as well, for the party I planned for my niece. I called mine a pink butterfly cake for a princess fairy. Come check it out when you get a chance :)

Have mercy... I'm getting all giddy just looking at that gorgeous cake. Here's another vote for the pink milk glass... they're all beautiful stands, but the silky look of the milk glass would be perfect, imo.

Hi Debbie, that is the most divine thing I've ever seen. It should be in a movie! It's just so dreamy. We are heading up to our caravan for school holidays. Look forward to catching up with you in a couple of weeks. Hope I can capture more dolphins or even a whale as it' the time of year for them. Stay happy and well. Pruxxx
