97 and Counting....

...And 3 more to go to get to the magical number of 100.  I'm so excited to announce that I am 3 away from reaching 100 followers!  Not that anything special will happen since I am not trying to reach a specific goal or number...this is really about connecting with people who share the same passion and interests I do.

Blogging for me has been such a joy...it has allowed me to explore a side of myself that I didn't know existed....it's been a creative outlet for me during my constant travels to learn more about things that interest me...so instead of getting annoyed with flight delays - I just fire up my laptop and away I go - transported into a world of crafting, creating and otherwise just learning more about the softer, sweeter things in life.

So with that - working in a world where numbers mean everything - I can't let the reaching of three digits go without some sort of celebration.  So stay tuned my fellow blogging friends - for a special giveaway that I will be hosting...for my first 100 followers (and the few that I know follow me without being a recorded "follower" on google friend connect).

And I will give you a hint...the giveaway has to do with one of my first real, official posts called Loving my Glass Floats

And the other related post focuses on my favorite
Haeger Pottery called 1960's Mermaid of the Sea

So stay tuned...100 is right around the corner!!!

I know what you mean- I was so anxious to hit 100 followers...and so surprised when it happened....I never even thought of that when I first started blogging. I am happy where I am now-if more followers come along-the more the merrier-if no one else ever follows I will be happy reaching the friends I reach. Hugs to you, sweet girl-I have loved following you! Diana

Congrats on such an exciting milestone! I know just what you mean about how exciting that can be. When I began blogging this spring, I wondered if I would ever have more than two followers, one of which being my sister! There are so many amazing, talented and generous women here in blog land, isn't there? Oooh! Your giveaway sounds so exciting, love those gorgeous floats!

I remember hitting my 100 followers and I was so excited. it is about the connecting with others. I still get excited each time someone follows me. Not for the numbers but that others enjoy what I do. Congrats and this looks like a fun giveaway!

Oh I just love your glass floats! They are so cool, and hard to find here in Cali (also expensive when you do). You commented on my blog about my pink pumpkin, it's just a white plastic pumpkin that I spray painted pink~ Voila! Marcia
