Coastal Chic in small spaces....

No matter how much I appreciate all types of design & decor styles - I always revert back to my one true love - coastal chic.  To me, there is nothing more refreshing, inspiring and invigorating than spaces decorated with seashells, starfish, coral and other sea inspired accessories.

In my obsession to one day create a coastal chic home from top to bottom, I spend hours of my past time collecting amazing photos to keep for inspiration - so when the day comes - I'll be ready to design and decorate.

Here are some of my favorite bathroom looks....hope you enjoy the selection.....

  Love the seahorses.

The shelving around the room  is amazing.
What a starfish collection!

Oh my - this leaves me breathless...and the giant clam shell sink...
I am in heaven.

Love the blues and the whites..

I can't get enough of this mirror.
I am going to try and re-create this as a winter project.
Right now - I am still collecting the shells.

Isn't this something else?  The vibrant colors, the shells, the sink...
WOW!

Simple -yet tasteful.
Another great mirror.

And Last - but certainly not least......
I just can not get enough of this photograph....

Every time I study this shot  - I see another special piece I love.
Look closely - it really is a masterpiece of coastal chic style.

So if you share my love of the coastal look - which bathroom would you select?  I think my first pick is the second shot with all the shelving.  I love the starfish and the vintage claw foot tub.

I love that last one but I also LOVE the other turquoise bathroom. I love Coastal chic too and we had quite a bit of it when we lived in FL. Somehow, it feels too "cool" to me with all of our snow-filled winters. However, in a cottage here it would be perfect. Someday, my dear, your dreams will come true...just keep working toward that goal! Hugs- Diana

Wow, those mirrors ae amazing! What a fun project that will be for you, better get busy and collect some more shells! If I had to pick a favorite bathroom, it would be the 2nd to the last photo. I love it for its' simplicity, but it would definitely have to have a clawfoot tub!!

Hi Debbi! Hmmmmm....my favs are the "simple but tasteful" one or the "another great mirror". I tend to lean toward simple, neutrals with just a tad bit of color here and there. But that clam shell sink????? Holy moly!!!!!!!!! Love it! Thanks for the inspiration, girlfriend! :)

Hugs and smushes! xoxo laurie

Wow, what gorgeous images. I especially liked the second and also the last pictures. Beautiful. I have no doubt that your dream will come true . That mirror is heavenly and I think that is a great winter project. I had to laugh when I opened your post because one of my next posts has a bathroom theme...but very different. Oh, these pictures you have shown us are out of this world. Thanks so much!

Lots of great baths. I love the one with the beach bath towel. It's the sink I almost bought! I just didn't want to spend that much but I love it. And the mirror is beautiful!

Pupils exploding! Thank you for the inspiration. Our bathrooms are pretty much basic white and waiting for a little sumpin' more coastal.

These are all so wonderful, Debbie! I love the outdoor bathing area. I've always wanted to do that. We have a vintage tub that wouldn't fit in our bathrooms... we've thought of doing that. Thanks for sharing these great inspirational photos! :)

This is the perfect post!! I'm with you Debbie, #2 is simply stunning (even though they all are in their own way). I love that shade of green and the brass. They go perfectly together. I also love the hand painted feel of the bath tub in the last shot... Pruxxx

The last two bathrooms are my favourites. I especially like the beadboard in the last one. And I also really like the rows of shelves displaying starfish and shells in two of the other bathrooms :-)

I've never seen a giant clam shell sink before -- WOW!!

If I could do any of them...it would be the simple yet tasteful with the pretty beige and white! But my bathroom in Florida has blue streaks running through the white of the counter, sink and tub so I am hoping to paint it a slate blue. That's on our list of improvements this winter! Love all of these ideas! ♥

The simplicity of the shelving... yes! I might prefer white, but then again, maybe not. If I'm going to overdose on color, aqua would be my choice.

Now how did I miss this???? I would love to have any of these bathrooms- I can't choose just one. Maybe an idea or 2 from each.
