A hundred reasons to celebrate....with a sea inspired gift

One of the first blogs I discovered was Completely Coastal....it was my initial foray into this wonderful and amazing network of learning and sharing your experiences with others.  It is where I first learned about authentic vintage glass floats.

So needless to say, I was overjoyed when Maya featured me as a result of one of my early posts called Loving My Glass Floats.  It meant so much that she thought something I wrote about was interesting enough to post on her fabulous blog.  So with that – I am celebrating the reaching of 100 followers by extending a very special giveaway to those 100 who were interested enough to follow along with me.

Being that I love all things related to a coastal lifestyle and also love vintage accessories – It is only fitting that I celebrate this milestone with three of my favorite things:   Vintage Haeger Pottery, Glass Floats and Sanibel Seashells.  So this is a three part present for one of my 100 followers:

Part 1 –A vintage 1960’s Haeger Gold Tweed clams shell bowl

Imagine my surprise when I recently came across an
exact duplicate of my clam shell display bowl.
Part 2 – Two vintage glass floats to start or add to your own collection

These are from Glass Float Junkie.  Both are green and
one has it's original netting.

Part 3 – Seashells collected from Sanibel to fill your bowl with

So here it is with all three parts together - plus I had to throw in one of my staples - a white sugar starfish....

Here is it next to mine that is filled with a variety of vintage glass floats...

So I am thinking the odds are pretty good here to collect this amazing sea inspired gift.  All you have to do  is to be one of my first 100 followers and leave a comment on what your all time most favorite blog or post in the blogging world has been.

So for me, this accomplishes two things – the first is that I am spreading my “Love of the Sea” to someone that will enjoy these pieces as much as I do....and the second is that I love to discover new blogs… so what better way to find them than from learning from your experiences.

So thank you Maria at Bubblegum and Duct Tape for being my 100th follower - so I can now publish this post!!  Have a great Saturday everyone!

I will use the random number counter for the winning number on Wednesday, October 20th.  Stay tuned for the results...

Hey girl~ Congrats on 100 followers! Are you sure you don't want me to send SweetCheeks over to do your "drawing" for you? She'll bring her own costume! lol

Wow-It is hard to say what is my favorite post ever-there are so many wonderful ones out there. I guess one of mine is Laurie over at Heaven's Walk. I think she is one of the very first blogs I ever discovered.,,and I continue to be delighted by her sweet (SASSY) ways! Like you, she is a Sanible "junkie"....the place that used to lure me across that Causeway hundreds of times!

So, my friend, sign me up...I think those little cuties would look great in our "coastal" rec room. Hugs- Diana

Gail lives in NJ by the sea and has a B&B...her life is so different from mine but so much alike I just enjoy her blog! I would so love to win your giveaway! I love the glass floats and these would be my first!!

Debbie, Happy 100! Your blog was one of my first to actually follow and not lurk. My favorite was Weeki Wachee Mermaids. Your recent Gidget was a fun read also. Brings back so many good memories for me.

Here's to adding to that Sanibel shell collection ;)

OH MY! I would be SO thrilled to have these things for my home in Florida! I am just now decorating it and want to get a natural, nautical feel to it! I fell in love with Completely Coastal, too and remember well the post on Glass Floats. (I went back and looked at my comment just now!) I have plans to buy some of the glass floats...but just haven't been able to yet! I love collecting seashells myself and actually bought another little container for some of my small shells today! Thanks so much for this amazing giveaway! As far as mentioning a 'new' blog...have your been to Fabulous After 40? You are probably too young for it...but I have fallen in love with these two ladies! The blog is in my list of favs! Hugs!

Congrats on hitting 100!! I think one of my favorites has been Donna's at Funky Junk Interiors. She was one of the first I found in this crazy world of blogging. I didn't even know what following was so I subscribe. She is full of inspiration. I hope to start my own float collection soon ;)

And also congratulations on being featured--that is so exciting!!!

Oh if you get a chance, hop over and see my Marie Antoinette tag...it will make you smile!!!

Congratulations on reaching 100. I can't even begin to say which has been my all time favorite blog post. I've been reading blogs for about 2 years now, and there have been so many inspiring ones over that time. I love some for their beauty, some for their words of wisdom, and some for their humor. I'd love to enter your wonderful giveaway though :-)
Blessings,
Marcia

Hi Debbie,
Congrats on 100 followers! How exciting that is! Well, since it's pretty much impossible for me to narrow it down to just one favorite blog or posting, I would have to say ONE of my favorite ideas is a gorgeous decoupaged chair, over at Sheila's Style De Bohem.
http://styledeboheme.blogspot.com/2010/08/well-always-have-paris.html
And my favorite post that you have done (see, I told you I couldn't chose just one!) is of your beautiful kitchen! Love it!

Oh, bummer, I'm follower #104, so I guess I can't participate in your giveaway :-(

I love glass floats, which I first learned about at Completely Coastal too :-) I've bought a couple from Glass Float Junkie, and a couple more recently from Ebay. I just love them -- they're so pretty and intriguing.

Congrats on reaching the 100 followers milestone :-)

Congratulations, Debbie!! Blogland sure is fun, isn't it?! In my opinion, if this giveaway was only the glass floats and the sugar star fish, it'd be awesome. The rest is just (pink) icing!

I'm with Anita about Funky Junk Interiors. Be sure to read her About Me. It reads like a good book you can't put down.

Another nice blog is Creative Ambitions and The Lettered Cottage
