Some vintage glass floats...with a little bit of this...and a little bit of that

I have glass cloches throughout my house.  And my favorite one is a tall, glass dome with a distressed turquoise base that I purchased - where else - on Etsy.   I change up the look each season - this was my Fall Cloche that I really loved...

And now it's time to create the sea inspired christmas cloche....

Selected my favorite coral, seashells, potpourri pieces....

Love the look and texture of the shell piece at the top of the photo.
Then I took the remainder of my vintage ornaments and little pine cones....

Gathered my small minty green and aqua vintage glass floats that I just purchased on Etsy....

And added in some moss balls, bulbs, little pieces of coral, white rock, sea glass, moss pieces and little seas shells, glittered starfish and seacookies....(basically all my leftovers)

I'm so pleased with how this came out.
Hope your having fun with your
holiday decorating.

An old cheese dome in my pantry's going to get that aqua treatment & turn into a cloche. Maybe I'll use it for the beautiful shells you sent :-)

Keep your toes warm, friend :-)

how pretty I have a bunch of hurricanes that I fill up, but I did not know about these cloches. You did such a great job, this is gorgeous. It would also make a great gift for a sea lover.

Oh my goodness, between your cloche and your clam shell, I don't know which one I love the most. How fabulously beachy. I just love to see what other beach gals are whipping up for the holidays to show their love of the sea and honey, you got it goin' on!

It looks GREAT! I love it and as you study it you see different things each time! Great job. I found a box of those same colored Shiny Brites at SVDePaul and got them for 99cents. LOVE them....they are downstairs in a small glass container. Love them. Hugs-Diana

I adore cloches, and I really love how your arrangement came out! Your floats look like giant Christmas ornaments, and look perfect along with all of your beachy treasures and the pretty little blue ornaments. Just beautiful!
