Adding a dash of red...

I've recently been adding touches of red to my coastal blue kitchen and I love it.  My obsession love for red in the the kitchen really started with a tortilla warmer I bought in New Mexico, then came a few vintage dishtowels with cherries...and now I've added in a knife holder and a few other little accessories.

So I thought I would share some of my favorite coastal blue and red spaces from Coastal Living Magazine.

The red looks great against the ocean background.
Love the blue table...with the different chairs mixed in.
Red Wicker on the porch?  Divine!
Love the oar over the headboard.
A splash of red adds so much to this room.
What a beautiful red kitchen.
The coral pillows adds a wonderful coastal touch.

Hope this inspires you to add
some (more) red into your home!

Hi Debbie
My favorite is that adorable front porch with the wicker chair. It's just so inviting!

I love that style and beach theme. I have all kinds of lighthouses up in western NC because that's what I like. Hubby was stationed on a lighthouse in his Coast Guard days. I finally figured out it was alright to surround myself with things we love.

I have bright red....and bright blue in different rooms so I try to pull those colors throughout my home to blend the rooms! LOVE touches of red! I LOVE the coral pillow and would love to get a couple of nautical pillows for the living room! ♥ What great ideas in this photos! ♥

I love all these images! I use red in my coastal cottage {currently in Illinois} to warm up the cold winters.

Red definitely adds some pop to a room! I like all white rooms with soft, subtle touches of red here and there... so pretty. It sounds like you added some fun touches of red to your kitchen, Debbie!
Enjoy the rest of your week!

I see what you mean! Fun.
However, my kitchen hot shots are fuchsia...gotta be with the aquamarine blue and lime tones in there.

The red really does make a difference! I love the wicker chair on the porch, along with the blue table and mismatched chairs. Too cute!

The dark red accents with the dark blue spiral staircase are quite stunning!

I love the second photo with the rustic furniture, mixed chairs and the rag rug to pull it all together.

I love red and blue, I think it looks patriotic and retro at the same time,

My favorite color combination--red and aqua--it's always on my blog and I might incorporate it into one of our rooms one of these days. Gorgeous.

It certainly has inspired me. This what I have planned for my kitchen. I had more red in my other house and I'm starting to miss it. So, I will be bringing a little of it back. Great photos. That striped chair is so fun looking!

I love red...have several red pillows, an ottoman with lots of red polka dots (and green, etc) on a dark blue background. And most of the art in the room has lots of bold red. I really love this room!!!

I love white rooms with splashes of red and blue!! The inspiration photos were so beautiful!! I'm thinking of painting my armoire red to add a bit of red to the living room. These photos have really inspired me to do so!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

We're trying LESS red!
An old roomie loved red - it was everywhere. Now we're transitioning over to blues and greens. But of course, my entire bedroom is red. Kitchen appliances (microwave, kettle, credenza) are red. We've got plenty!
