Coastal Chic by Wisteria ... Louis XV Style

I always look forward to receiving my Wisteria Catalog. I am after all.... a catalog junkie at heart.  Always have been and always will be.

Way back when, my husband used to throw them out before I saw them...thinking that if I didn't see them - I wouldn't buy anything....(wrong!)... but thankfully, he has conceded defeat and now stacks them up for me to read when I get back from my travels.

Wisteria provides incredible inspiration & ideas and is pretty affordable as far as home decor catalogs go...and they have great online sales. I've bought a few inexpensive things here and there.

Even though this mirror is a bit over the top for my house...(if Louis the XV was a shell lover - he would be very proud).....  I still love the details and appreciate all of the beautiful shells & workmanship.  Here are some of my favorite coastal chic items from Wisteria:

This is just YUMMY

WOW....I love this with a touch of red.
This would belong in a corner all by itself.
Talk about making a statement.

Amazing - talk about shell crafts!  Even if I started today and had forever - I could never pull something like this dresser off!!!

If you get a chance - check out Wisteria for some great inspirations.  Their Shop by Scene section is great for all kinds of home decorating ideas.

Yeah-Why DO husbands do that? Throw out the magazines just because they think you don't need anything? Do I throw out his underwear? No. I. Do. Not. LEAVE my magazines alone. And, just remember- Payback is a beast! We have had this conversation more than once!

Wouldn't you love to actually SEE that shell dresser? Can you imagine? I would be afraid to move it once I had it for fear I would start crushing some of the shells.

You might not do the dresser but those framed shells would be easy enough. Or...the mirror...oh...you could do a mirror! Diana

My favorite is the mirror! Yes, it looks like it might belong at Versailles by the Sea! I made a fairly large shell framed mirror several years go, and it took tons of shells! I can only imagine how many this one took!

I am SO happy to be here! Thanks for stopping by The Hut and leading me here. I know I'm running a little behind, but I finally made it and honey, I LOVE your blog!

I have this deep desire to cover my dresser in shells. Now I'm sure I have enough of the little gems, but not this kind of talent. Gorgeous.

I've been reading back and I saw that you wrote you don't see seashells in your area. Glad you made that trip to Sanibel, amazing isn't it? And it looks as though you found some real prizes to take home with you.

Also, I saw the post about Stiltsville. I just learned about that place not to long ago and I will be looking for your upcoming post. Now you see, you can tell hubby you have to get out there and get some new pics!

FABULOUS blog!!!!
