A little driftwood for the holidays....

This wonderful driftwood tree from C'est la Vie really caught my eye in this month's issue of Coastal Living.  I am trying to figure out - where in the world would I put this....I only have so much space to work with...but this would be a fabulous addition to a "Coastal Christmas".

I'm thinking - Maybe one of the little ones wouldn't take up too much space.

Isn't this wonderful?

Yes, these are great...I saw something similar in a store called Sirene, downtown Venice, FL...a VERY chic coastal decorating shop.

Those are fantastic! Oh...now I know what to do with all those bits and pieces of driftwood that I have left behind over the years. Now...if only our shore wasn't frozen. Hmmm..maybe next year. I just got my Coastal Living and haven't had a chance to go through it yet. These are wonderful...and unusual...and perfect for a sea inspired home decor. Hugs-Diana

Those are gorgeous and what a great idea! I have a huge thing of driftwood sitting in our closet and have been trying to come up with ideas for it. Thanks for sharing this!

p.s. Love your blog!

Hey Debbie,
Those are really different. I'm sure you could squeeze one in somewhere. When the horizontal is getting full I say go vertical!

Love these, I would probably whitewash and maybe very lightly glitter some of the edges. I have driftwood but not enough to make one :(

These are fabulous. I love Beach House Living's idea about maybe whitewashing them a bit and adding a very light touch of fine glitter. But I also like them just the way they are. Really unique and beautiful.
You always find such great stuff.

It was great talking with you today!

Ohhhhhh!!!!!!!!! I saw those in my Coastal Living, too, Debbie, and couldn't stop staring at them! I ADORE THEM! They can't be that difficult to make, can they? Maybe a little time consuming, but just a little driftwood (well.....alot of driftwood) and a little hot glue....? Start saving driftwood for me, would you, Debbie? lol!

Happy Thanksgiving, sweetie! :)
